Okay, this is probably about the 49th blog I have set up for KimDesigns.com. (Michelle D- sad, I know).
Yes, for some reason - I have bad blog karma. As soon as I get one set up - my server gets moved - and guess what - no one remembers to save the blog so all is lost. Hence, all the blog start-overs!
Here soon, this blog will invite only the Kim Designs / Strike-off active designers/artist. No one else will be able to read the blog. Until then, I will use this blog for quick calls for art and notices to all.
Updates:
> Thanks to those that provided rug deisgns for Big Lots meeting. Feb. 7th is the meting. > Patriotic art was submitted for plates and napkins. Now, we wait six months to learn of any postitive outcomes. >Really want to do well with Wrangler - see call log for the details. (email chanta@kimdesigns.com) for a link to the calll log.
YES! if you have designs for any call we put out - do us a HUGE time-saving favor and send us the jpgs via email so we can include them in the portfolio. Chanta spends countless hours combing the archives of KD and SO to include the "right" art for our clients. So, if you send us / remind us of your existing art and send the jpgs - that's a huge time-saving bonus for us.
With that said, MY absolute favorite card company (if you want to know specifically, just ask chanta@kimdesigns.com for the name of the client and the pay scale) needs Easter greeting card art.
They pay well and fairly for the art. I drool when I see their card lines - at only $6.98 per card - I rarely indulge.
Email Subject Line should read: Easter Greeting Card Art Name jpgs: KD_yourfirstname_designname.jpg
Hi there,
We’re working on the Easter 2012 line, now. I’ve listed out some specific needs, but please, as always, feel free to send in anything else you think appropriate or that you just want to update us with. Also, if you want to just send a concept with a sample of the styling you’d use, that’s fine, too.
Here’s a listing of some specific needs:
Bunnies!
Chicks!
Eggs!
Styles we’re focusing on – whimsy, sweet, cute, photo and illustrated
Just asking - does anyone have art that is tropical Christmas like?
Ideas: Palm trees with Christmas lights, a Flamingo with a Christmas Hat? Or the like? Needed for 18" x 30" coir doormats.
