Happy Halloween - BG's designs that always make me smile:

Everytime I am pulling art for Halloween from the KD gallery  - I can't help but crack a big grin to see BG's great Halloween themed art he produced.
So on halloween - I just have to share it with KD - folks.

Have a safe halloween - the streets can be wickedly scarey out there.

Fierce for Fall: Leopard Print (a Cesca "edition"):

Leopard print is a seriously wild pattern that is extremely versatile and much more wearable than you would think. In the past, leopard print was a pattern most commonly associated with women of little... taste. Now, leopard (some call it cheetah, I've always called it leopard) print is a versatile pattern that can be used in all sorts of combinations. The beautiful and majestic animals that inspire these patterns are fast, cunning and have always been associated with the aristocracy, making this one well-thought-out concept for a pattern. Leopard is a sexy yet fun and fierce pattern that, when used in moderation, can really add to an outfit or room. It's popular in some of its most garish renditions amongst pre-teen girls, and can be used as a throw pillow or blanket to add a touch of wildness to an otherwise boring room. Keep the pattern neutral, in a color scheme such as natural leopard or snow leopard to avoid looking too much like Ke$ha, or like that horrible rug you loved back when you still loved the Backstreet Boys. Enjoy the pictures below, and have a great weekend!

Classic examples of the pattern - stick with these shades to avoid looking garish

A subtle leopard pattern looks fantastic in colorful shades!

A leopard cardigan is a great way to jazz up an outfit

One of my personal favorite ways to wear leopard - shoes! Here, the patterns are far enough apart that it doesn't become overwhelming.

Right: Leopard makes an adorable addition to classic Sperry Topsiders.

A leopard clutch is a great way to take an outfit from day to evening

Left: A leopard throw adds a splash of pattern (and it's SUPER soft!)
Right: A cozy leopard pillow fits nicely into this warm, fall color scheme.

And my personal favorite way to wear the leopard trend...

A leopard ring! Here it is on me...

And here's a better view - it's so cute, the way it peeks over your finger, and I get tons of compliments on this ring. Plus, it only cost 12 dollars!

Another beautiful leopard ring - I'm DYING for this one!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, you'll hear from me again soon! Happy Friday!

Happy Diwali Everyone!!

Glowing Glee Diwali Cards
Ritika, contributing Kim Designs designer. residing in India, sent us Happy Diwali greetings.
I wanted to share with everyone.

Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) that's marked by four days of celebration, which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, and dazzles all with its joy. Each of the four days in the festival of Diwali is separated by a different tradition, but what remains true and constant is the celebration of life, its enjoyment and goodness.
