From a buyer's perspective - buying art:

I was talking with one KD contributing designer that previously purchased art for her job. We were discussing how competitive this industry is. (I know many of you get frustrated with lack of sales so I thought I'd share this).

J writes:

Hi Kim,

Yes, I know. When I was working in the industry,

we must have looked at a thousand designs a day

for as long as the Europeans were in town -- a week

perhaps. And then we only bought a handful, if that

much! Our boss said we had to "love, love it!" If it

was only "love" that wasn't good enough.
