Boston Marathon:
My best friend ran the Boston Marathon finishing at 4:06.
Less than three minutes after finishing, she was running from the finish line area thinking her life may be at stake.
She is the mother of seven children and that bomb going off so close to her really rattled her.
Today, as we walked and talked at the very early hour of 5:30 a.m., she screamed when we came upon a parked maintenance truck (she feared it was a dangerous person in the truck) - a bit of post traumatic stress working it's way out.
During our walk, we talked about the marathon and the finish line happenings and had unreal it all seemed. Definitely a very miserable scene...
For my friend Sharon, and all those affected by the bombings and for those that lost life and limb - I thought I'd post this shirt art from Adidas.

Nicely and elegantly done!
My eight year old is learning cross-stitch in her 3rd grade class at school.
She has a very patient teacher that will help many students learn this stitch.
