All That Glitters

As the holiday season rapidly approaches, we find more and more opportunities to bring out our most fun and ostentatious clothing. The plethora of parties and influx of events leaves a lot of room for the most fun clothes you own to be brought out of the closet and see the light of day. One of my favorite things during the holidays is glitter, sequins and shimmer. These fun, light-catching and sparkly pieces automatically make any outfit more fun and, when done tastefully, can dress up pieces like jeans and leather jackets. They're great for holiday parties and shimmery accents can come from clothes, jewelry, shoes and other accessories. You can also add fun and festive accents to your home with small touches like glittery candles, metallic vases and shimmery silk pillows. One of my favorite accents in this festive style is a chandelier. Chandeliers, classic or modern, are made to catch the light and play with it in different ways, and it instantly glams up a room.

Shimmery tops are one of the easiest and most versatile ways to add some sparkle to an outfit.

Take style inspiration from these stars - a shimmery dress with sparkly accents is glamorous and classic.

Glittery shoes are a super fun and festive way to add a burst of sparkle to an outfit.

A shimmery clutch is a perfect accent during the holiday season - it also makes a great gift!

Shimmery touches add a festive atmosphere to any room.

A pillow with shiny silk accents is a subtle way to add shimmer and light to and otherwise boring piece of furniture.

Shimmery chandeliers bring light and sparkle as well as class and sophistication to rooms. They look great over dining room tables and in the main entrance into your home.

Hope you enjoyed this post and all the sparkle of holiday dressing and decor. Happy holidays to all!
